Given the numerous publications in the media about the construction of a house for deputies on the Tropinina str. in Kyiv, the Press Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat declares the following.
Budget of Parliament for 2013 does not provide the allocation of capital expenditures for the construction of any facilities, particularly, apartments for people’s deputies and personnel of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat, and costs for development of project documentation.
In this regard, we ask media representatives to follow the professional journalists’ standards and do not place unverified information in their publications.
